IMYM yacht racing knowledge and experience:
At IMYM, we have spent a considerable amount
of time putting metre yachts through their paces.
We have developed the 6M Howlett tube to its
maximum changing the methods of mast taper and
refining all that goes inside.
Our rigs are now used extensively throughout
the UK Fleet as well as several others in Europe
and the States.
In terms of Yacht tuning we have now a Vast
experience in getting that bit extra out of
your Boat, results speak for themselves.
Hull & gear positioning with the necessary
strength that is now required has proved itself
in all types of Weather conditions.

2007:
More recent successes include the
2007 Antigua Classics earlier this year:
'Tomahawk' - our 1938 S&S Yawl - came 1st
in the
Concourse de Elegance, Won
the Woodstock Trophy for Best Restored
Yacht in the Regatta and came in 3rd overall
in the Classics.
'Titia', our 1952 David Boyd, won the British
Nationals on June 30th 2007.
19 Boats took part and the Classic Fleet was
dominated by TITIA.
We finished fourth overall in
the recent 2007 World Championships before dominating
proceedings at the Centenary Metre Regatta.
We have brought in All Spars & Harken UK
along with Doyle sails;
The above are all totally dedicated to the Metre
Yacht owners and the performance that is now
required to win.
Sail development has been constant and is still
very on going
Phil Bennett in particular is a Metre Yacht
guy and is continually looking at our Sail requirements
Andy Ash Vie MD of Harken UK and Modern 6M owner
also runs a very efficient service to all of
our owners.
Andy Postle at All Spars has sailed with me
now for over 8 years and together we really
make it all happen.
