France II
France II was built for the 1977 America’s
Cup. Built under Lloyds Register of Shipping
by “l´Association Francaise pour
la Coupe de l´America”. A first
quality total interior refit was done in 1996
by Egger in France.
Asking price: 1.1 million Euros.
France
II is fabricated from selected moulded woods
- three laminates of mahogany 10mm and 15mm
according to the collected information and other
high quality materials. The hull, deck, keel
and miscellaneous components are precision moulded
from the wood. Hull was painted with white epoxy
in 1996.
Keel stepped epoxy painted aluminium Marechal
masts (new 1996)
Centre cockpit with teak seats and aft cockpit
with wheel steering and navigation instruments.
Teak decks with stainless steel deck fittings.

1996. Down below her exceptional fine mahogany

On the port side: chart table/navigation area
Aft is a passageway cabin with two bunks that
gives access to the attractive double aft guest
cabin, with ensuite
Galley on the starboard with 3 burner gas stove,
double sink, Raritan ice maker and Frigman stainless
steel gas vertical fridge
Forward is a very comfortable owners ensuite
stateroom with a desk (+ tel,/fax).

Competed in the America’s Cup Jubilee.
Purchased by a Member of the Master Guild of
Seamen she was given a Ford engine.
